Yaktrax SkiTrax Ski Boot Tracks Traction and Protection Cleats (Pair), Black/Orange, Medium
Yaktrax SkiTrax Ski Boot Tracks Traction and Protection Cleats make it easier and safer to walk in ski boots on snow, ice, and slippery surfaces. Much more than just traction, the dual-density outsole protects ski boots from wear and tear, ensuring a longer life for gear. They are easy to take on and off of boots, thanks to a thick and durable rubber heel tab. The rocker sole design promotes a natural stride, making it easier to walk around, as well as up and down stairs and hills. The rounded tread offers traction and prevents snow buildup to reduce the risk of slipping in the parking lot, while walking to and from the lifts, and even around the ski lodge. Compact and foldable, a pair can easily fit into a ski jacket or ski pants pocket for portable ski boot traction. The Yaktrax Ski Boot Track Traction and Protection Cleats are available in a range of sizes to fit ski boots of all sizes: X-Small (fits shoe size W2.5-6, M1-4.5); Small (fits shoe size W6.5-10, M5-8.5); Medium (fits shoe size W10.5-12.5, M9-11.5); Large (fits shoe size W13-15, M12-13.5); X-Large (fits shoe size W15.5+, M 14+). This will be my second pair. This is my first review….. I’m a ski instructor and my first pair of these lasted 4 years before the rubber weakened enough to need another pair. I find them superior to cat tracks for ease of use and comfort while walking. If you are between sizes I recommend going smaller otherwise you’ll be walking out of them. They are bulky…. creative ways to carry them are to loop them over your power strap then fasten the strap so they are hanging off the side of your boot… or put a hole in the…
My ski boots are 325mm long so I ordered the MEDIUM size. That put my boot length in the lower 1/3 of the it range for the rubber sole. However after the sole fell a number of times while walking I called YakTrax and they said I should have ordered one size smaller. After reordering the SMALL I found that it was so tight to stretch on I wouldn’t be able to get them on while wearing the boots. I gave them to a friend with smaller feet and stayed with the MEDIUMs.Since…

(right at the border between “small” and “medium” ski trax). the “small” fits the 305 mm footbed tightly–almost too tight… have’t tried them on the slopes yet.the “medium” was too loose for my old 297mm long boots…
