Yaktrax is the perfect way to protect costly ski boots Well, I’ve only been skiing for 66 years (got a late start at 7), so I don’t know everything … yet! But one thing I do know is that these Yaktrax slip-on boot sole protectors are the best I’ve ever found for the job. Walking around on unprotected ski boot bottoms is a sure way to ruin a $600 pair of boots in short order. Great while they last, which isn’t very long. These fit on my ski boots according to their size chart fine. They are super comfy to walk on and they save my boot soles. I used them about 5 or 6 times during the first season I owned them. Yesterday, the first day I used them in the second season, BOTH broke immediately at the arch connections between the heel and toe pieces before I even started walking! Yaktrax only offers a 90 day warranty, which I guess reflects their confidence in their product lasting 90 days. I guess I shouldn’t have…
