I am glad I was able to purchase the poles over the Internet, because poles like that are only sold in some parts of Europe and my husband wanted them badly after skiing this winter with my brother in law. My husband has not tested them yet, but he is a good skier and is mostly interested in utilizing the poles for drinking alcohol :). I’m so glad I got these. It was balmy in Denver this weekend so I was able to ski with them and hike with them them, filled with water. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical getting these poles. I was worried about durability and if they were going to be gimmicky. I was pleasantly surprised that these poles feel just as good as my other poles. They were as stiff or stiffer, and the grip is comfortable.
