Solid choice for a XC ski pulk. We had a Kindershuttle on long-term borrow for some friends, but when they finally asked for it back we pulled the trigger on this (formerly Chariot XC ski kit). Should have so much sooner! As the designated draft animal, I find that it pulls so much easier than the KinderShuttle, at least on groomed XC trails, due to having skinny skis rather than a wide flat base; it has a water bottle holder on the waist belt; and it is easier to get the kid in and out of. Wonderful I purchased this elsewhere for less but wanted to write a review since I read every review I can find before a costly purchase. We have the CX1 and bought primarily for running…we’ve pushed it on 18+ mile runs and we love it. However, we realized we weren’t cashing in on its full potential. We splurged for the ski kit and took it out for the first time last weekend-and it was awesome. Our 2 year old loves being out there with us and his older brothers. The Chariot would glide behind us…
