The Thule Parkway provides you with convenient vehicle access with a carrier that easily tilts down, and fits all types of bikes with a dual-arm design that eliminates the need for top-tube adapters. This bicycle rack features classic Thule cradles made to protect your bike frame while holding your bikes securely, and includes a tie-down strap for even more bike security. The Thule Parkway weighs 32.5 pounds completed, and is constructed with two feet of steel tubing that has been E-coated for extra corrosion resistance, and soft thermo-rubber cradles. The Parkway has a maximum carrying capacity of 140 pounds, and can be upgraded with Thule’s 950 Zip Stick for added bike stability and anti-sway functionality. User’s should note that this hitch-mount bike rack is designed for, and only fits on, a two-inch receiver.

MIssing a few convenient features This is a great entry level bike rack for the price, but is lacking a few convenience features. The rack goes into the hitch on my car easily, but putting the securing bolt through the bolt hole to hold it in the hitch receiver can be tedious. This might just be the nature of hitch-mounted racks, but it can try your patience when you’re sitting on the floor of a hot garage in the Southern heat. The upper arm that holds the bikes requires another bolt that is a different size than the bolt…
… product review before but after this morning I feel like I have to I have never written a product review before but after this morning I feel like I have to. This bike rack is incredible. From the moment I put my hands on it I could tell it was a quality piece of equipment. I have been using it regularly for about six months now and it has performed exactly as I thought and hoped it would. This morning on my way to work I was rear-ended by a woman who was going about 35 MPH. Thankfully I didn’t have my bike with me or else it would’ve been destroyed…
