Good luck with that This is a very large heavy item which makes handling and storage VERY difficult.It is also very limited in capacity which is in contrast to the devices overall size.I am a family of 4 (3 skiers, and 1 snow boarder)The clam locks are not wide forcing you load the skis “mated.” Depending on the thickness of your binding, you have to hold on to the skis and lift them into position while you close the clam lock. This thing is pretty awesome. Though This thing is pretty awesome. Though, if you don’t already have a bike hitch that it attaches too, it’s going to be a pretty expensive setup. Same with a roof style rack though. If you don’t have the roof rails you’ll have to buy those too. I have it attached to a Thule Apex 4 and it works well. I took it on a 600 mile trip and it kept 3 pairs of skis, 3 sets of poles and 1 snowboard securely locked down the whole trip. I also used it back and forth from our cabin to the top of the mountain so…
