The Book on Ski Boots: What you need to know about your Ski Boots- Save your ski season and your vacation
A few years back I wrote the original Concierge’s Guide to Ski Boot Fitting and it was a hit. Littered with pithy fun, it gave Teton Village concierges something to peruse at work in the slow times. Formatted in a no frills textbook format, early free versions had valuable information a JH skier encounters and got my name out there. Now longer and more in depth, the Concierge’s Guide has turned into The Book on Ski Boots. It is aimed at helping the skier and snowboarder understand what is going on with their feet. Working with the Industrial Skier has been great for me. The ski boot is an essential piece of work wear for many of my friends. Guys and gals working on their feet daily in ski boots have little time for ill fitting footwear. Using technology and materials directly from the Prosthetic and Orthotic field, it’s possible to put boot drama to rest. People ski great when they are comfortable. Over-complicating boot fits and baffling skiers with jargon is a disservice to all. Your boots should fit like an old friend. They need and can be your favorite piece of gear. Look for additional expanded editions! Nobody’s foot should hurt. Ever.
Ski pain free–or at least exonerate your boots
