A Great Setup for the Price I researched this product all over the internet for days before my purchase, because the reviews on Amazon scared me. I thought it was too good to be true at the price. A bit of work to make the rack fit right, but solid product overall. It’s sturdy and fairly easy to install but the clip that goes between the weather stripping and the top of the doorsill was way too think because of the rubber coating they put on it. While I appreciate the care put into the product not damaging the paint, it was too thick for that space and the tops of the doors were hitting the clips so it was hard to close the doors and put a lot of stress on the door latch and made an obnoxious noise when on the freeway. Works well if you loosen up the mounting feet swivels first. Works well and secures to my Prius nicely but…..The settings in the instructions are a little off. I set the brackets up exactly as the instructions said but after the first installation attempt it did not fit properly. I had to loosen up the brackets and let them find the best position with the feet solidly placed on the roof then tighten up the retraining clamps. Also, there is a bit of swivel movement designed into the feet mounts and one of mine was stuck and did not swivel. At first…
