Rossignol BC 70 Positrack Cross Country Skis- 190
The Rossignol BC 70 is a versatile cross country ski that is perfectly capable for off-trail exploring, but can also be used on trail. It uses full length metal edges, which is really a nod to its intended use. Full length metal edges give you great control on a wide variety of terrain. On icy terrain you can hold an edge really well, which helps boost confidence when exploring tricky new terrain. This allows you to get out into the backcountry without feeling worried that your skis might not live up to the challenge of off piste skiing. The BC 70 also has a tall camber zone under foot, which helps boost its ability on groomed terrain. While it’s not going to feel as smooth on trail as a dedicated classic ski, it’s a nice mix of performance for XC skiers who just want to get out and have some fun while exploring. The wax-less Positrack base gives the ski great grip for going uphill, but also glides well so you don’t feel like your skis are dragging when going downhill. If you’re looking for a fun touring ski that you can take on local trails, on the golf course, snowmobile trails, backcountry powder terrain, and anywhere else you can think of the BC 70 offers that versatility you need.
