Racor Pro PS-2R Two Pair Ski and Pole Rack
A great addition to ski lockers and cabinets, this rack stores up to 3 pairs of skis and poles for easy access and quicker departure when it’s dumpin’ out there. Skis are supported at the tips so you can easily swing tails aside to fit boots in the bottom of the locker. Hang poles by their straps on two center hooks. The hooks also work great as coat and glove hangers when there’s just one pair of skis and poles to store. Made of sturdy solid steel construction and a durable epoxy finish, this ski rack ensures optimal stability and corrosion resistance for years of reliable ski storage. With no assembly required; the unit mounts easily to any wall with the provided hardware. –Brian D. Olson

Good idea, poor implementation and poor build/inspection process I bought three of these, and am disappointed. Spacing between ski holding rods is too close for some skis. Rods should be at LEAST 5″ long to accommodate normal ski tips–we are no longer skiing on 1970’s skis; these are 3.5 inches from base bars to end of uplifted tip. Two of three racks I ordered were “crooked” with the worst one 1/2″ higher at one end than the other (that is, if you mount it with the holder rods level, the top bars are 1/2″ higher on the right than on…
Sturdy, but too narrow for thick-edged skis This isn’t a bad product, in fact, the metal and the jointing are very sturdy. Problem is, most modern skis are (i) wider than the length of this rack’s prongs, and (ii) with thicker edges than the gap between the prongs actually accommodates. For instance, I have a pair of intermediate Fischer skis with a moderate lip or edge, and those fit in the narrower Left or Right gaps. But a pair of advanced Volk’s with thick edges do not fit within the Left or Right gaps – so I had to hang those…
Cross Country Skis This is great, but unlike the photos I did not hang the skis by the tips. Cross country skis are bowed and when hung by the tips they don’t hang straight up and down. Holding the skis tightly together and placing them in the hanger with the tips about one foot above the rack they fit snug without slipping down but not so tight that I am concerned about long term damage to the natural bow of the skies. If you do hang the skis by the tips then use a plastic ski clamp to keep the skis together…
