Good for the price All in all not bad, but it noisy catches the wind really bad, I used to have a Yakima rack and wasn’t noisy at all, the base makes it stick up a little high, and being a more or less universal fit, the screws that clamp the base stick down really far, almost touching the roof of the truck, the catch in action isn’t too smooth either.Okay, 1 year later and I cant take it anymore, you will find my old set on craigslist under curb alert.The noise is just too much, i can actually feel…
I got this rack for only $75, which is way cheaper than any of the name brands. It does its job, but feels a little cheap. After I installed the rack, I started getting a loud wind whistle from between the rack and my car’s crossbar. I solved it by taping a piece of foam pipe insulation in the gap. I’m able to fit four men’s snowboards in the rack. One of them is a 158 wide, and I think if more than one of the boards was a wide i might have trouble fitting four boards. But all in all, it…
