These kept me standing! I seriously would not have survived this last weekend in the mountains without them. I have always resented carrying one more thing like poles but I probably won’t even day hike again without them! They withstood the test, too. I leaned on them when I was about to collapse, shoved them in scat to test for freshness, jabbed them in the ground just in time to catch me from a fall, and they held me right up. They were easy to pack, unpack, prepare, keep and carry. The flip-locks make them fuss-free to adjust. They were lightweight and sturdy. Gave good grip whilst climbing up hillocks and coming down in the snow, ice and some patches of frozen mud. Just be careful to tighten the flip locks once…
