POC POCito Fornix Ski Helmet, Orange, Medium-Large/55-58
Fornix POCito is a kids version of the Fornix. The award winning Fornix is a lightweight, aramid reinforced and well-ventilated helmet. By applying Aramid strings and molding them together with the foam liner, it was possible to develop a lightweight helmet while maintaining structural stability and a high level of protection. The tensile strength of the aramid fiber is very high and when bonded to the helmet structure, it allows energy to be dispersed over the entire bridge, giving the helmet better energy absorption. Fornix is generously ventilated and the size adjustment system makes it possible to customize the fit of the helmet to ensure it stays safe and comfortable in place.

Ventilation is adequate, and very easy to open and close even with gloved or mittened hand (the forehead vent is always open; the vents on top open and close). Chin strap is well-placed, and adjustments forward/rearward, as well…
My daughter and I love this helmet. I love it because it protects her well. I researched it and it seems to have good properties; and with the bright colors she is easy to spot on the slopes. It adjusts well, works great with goggles (has ventitaltion so the don’t fog up) and has general ventilation on top that can be opened or closed, depending on how warm or cold it is.Another good thing is that the company uses non toxic colors, they do admit that the bright orange might fade a…
