The Daylite Plus is at home on a 14,000-foot summit or on a trip to the local farmer’s market. It is designed to attach to a number of Osprey’s larger packs and travel bags for use as a separate pod pack on day trips away from base camp.

Just got mine yesterday and boy is it complex! I had to track this info down so I thought I’d share…. The difference between this pack (daylite plus) and the regular daylight model is that this model has an extra 7L to its total volume & there is padding in the inner pocket for insulating a hydration pack (not included) or laptop/tablet. I just went to Cambodia and Vietnam for 15 days with just a carry-on roller bag (that I checked) and a backpack. Great for day hikes and as an under seat carry … Great for day hikes and as an under seat carry on. Did the southern Utah national parks and the it performed as advertised. Carried two water bottles in the mesh pockets, a larger bottle in the interior compartment along with a second pair of lighter shoes and plenty of snacks. The straps distribute the load quite comfortably.As a carry on, I was able to carry my iPad, Kindle, snacks for the 4 hour plane ride, plus everything that has to come out of your pockets to pass through security…
