Practically speaking, as a paramedic, the item gets in the way, even more so for fire rescue, this is a item for event staff or construction crews that need their hands free and, but too many flaps and cordage for daily use. I work events which is the reason I purchased this. For the price, it’s pretty great, however it’s really small. To be honest when I first opened it I thought it would be useless, but I was wrong! Center pouch can fit a phone (with the flap left open), array of pens and sharpies, or a small notepad.
