Not a 40 below boot. Cold in the teens when sitting I was looking for a warm boot for deer hunting in Wisconsin. I would call this boot a partial success in that it is better than what I had but still not fantastic. A warmer boot would have been better but they’re ok. Hunting conditions were 12-35 degrees plus wind. I tend to sit for long periods with very little walking. Each day I removed the felt linings so they could dry completely.
