Cold weather note… I am very satisfied with this product; but I need to make a note about cold weather use.The instructions that come with the product state: “WARNING! Warm fuel vapor can condense in a very cold burner, spraying fuel. This can cause unsafe flaring. Exercise caution in cold weather. Lightweight, compact personal cooking unit This jet boil is a great piece of gear, it heats up 1/2 liter of water in about 2 minutes. I’ve used it for Ramon noodles, MREs, and coffee. The plastic lid seems like it will melt if left on while cooking and using a plastic spoon was also a poor decision (consider getting a metal spoon).
