WAXFAXTM: SpringSolutionTM All temperature ski and snowboard wax® (Fluorocarbon liquid) formula microencapsulated into a solid until applied: Apply hot or cold, HertelTM SpringSolutionTM formula, uses a double microencapsulation process, that reduces surface tension on the base of your ski or snowboard down to 9 pounds of energy needed to turn compared to 25 pounds with no wax. At very cold temperatures, the ski becomes hygroscopic repelling frozen water/snow, the element we are addressing. SpringSolutionTM minimizes friction, creating the ultimate control of the downward and lateral force like no other ski or snowboard wax. In warmer weather, SpringSolution TM becomes hydrophobic changing the structure of the element (water) under the ski or snowboard. SpringSolutionTM collapses the bead of water under the base, from a sharp round bead to a flat disbursed layer of water allowing for high performance like no other wax has been able to provide. SpringSolutionTM has an additive that is a miracle worker in that it address the pollen in the snow. The pollen is the black sticky substance that gets all over your ski, boot’s and binding. Once believed to be tractor exhaust or lift grease, HertlelTM research team prove we are addressing another element in the snow beside, frozen water. SpringSolutionTM will allow you to glide through the snow converting the stick pollens/wax into a slick wax giving you added control and safety. SpringSolutionTM is also an excellent base coat prior to applying HertelTM famous All temperature ski/snowboard wax®. SpringSolutionTM is long lasting and can stay on the ski or snowboard up to seven days without the need to re-apply. Hertel TM SpringSolutionTM uses a new formula 158 FLEXTM. This gives SpringSolutionTM and Racing FC 739TM the flexibility to match any ski or snowboard flex throughout any terrain. SpringSolutionTM is all white and will not stain your ski’s or clothing.

Make sure to clean all the old wax off your base. My first review for spring solution was pretty negative as it felt like I was dragging an anchor on the best powder day this spring. This was most likely a result of me not properly removing all the Hertel hot sauce from the base. After totally cleaning the base and applying spring solution I had very different results. My board was super fast on groomers in the morning. As the snow softened I was able to glide over the sticky patches with little resistance and much speed. Seemed to work ok in…
