Good for Even a Minnesota Winter I’m very happy with these boots. I live in Minnesota and winter can be bitterly cold – your feet get wet from the snow and ice. But not with these puppies. My feet were cozy and warm. They are insulated with Thinsulate (FYI for Winter Newbies – that’s VERY GOOD) and the fur goes all the way throughout the boot for extra softness. It doesn’t rub against your leg or anything like that (which is VERY NICE). They are comparable to Sorel boots (note that I said COMPARABLE not SAME AS…nothing beats…
Great in the snow! Sitting on about a foot of snow in New England, with more on the way, and these boots are great. They have nice tread for the ice and are waterproof for stomping around in the snow. They are lined throughout with “fur” and are very thick, so my toes stay warm.I usually wear a size 7 or 7.5, so I read some reviews and got an 8.
