Super Oh, these are great. I did not read their dimensions, and wrongly assumed they were bigger but that is my fault. However, they are large enough for my 1/2 inch mortise chisel, as well as my planes’ cutters when honed sideways which makes no difference in the blade cutting ability, as I sure many of you know. This sideways honing can be dome with chisels, too. The diamond surface is super. The “stones” are not very thick, and thus, a flat surface is required with a thin wedge to stop…

Stay Sharp These are very nice to put into the ‘extra’ pocket of any kind of tactical sheathe you’d have.They are also nicely sized to put into a fishing vest, or a tackle box, if you needed to have them to sharpen your fillet knives.I don’t think they’d be very good for sharpening hooks, due to the pattern on the stone, they make sharpeners especially for that.But for a hunting knife or needing something light to pack that doesn’t take up much space, these are great.
