I used it the day after I got it to go Kayak fishing. This worked like a charm. I fish in the Tennessee River close to Wheeler and Wilson Dam and even with the currents this anchor held me fast. The dry bag that came with this kept my wallet, keys, and phone dry once I was done even though the my kayak’s cubby hole had water in it.
