These kept my hands completely dry and very warm during a day of snowboarding. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them for ski or snowboarding for two reasons. First, a small hole (that did not grow in size through the day–maybe they came that way) tore near the webbing of the Pinky/ring finger on my nondominant hand within the first hour of wearing the gloves. Nice, warm ski type gloves. The gaunlets are very long and warm. I haven’t noticed the vents working… not working. The fit is as expected and the construction seems very good. Feel solid when you pull them on. Also the thinsulate makes the gloves feel lighter than you might expect given their girth. I would say these would wearork all the way down to the low 30’s. After that, I might wear some glove liners. Room inside the gloves is plentiful, so there should be no problem with the thinner…
