Fresh pow look out! I broke an old pair of Scott ski poles in half last year after getting a solid 26 years of use in them. My only remaining poles were my trusty Black Diamond trekking poles. Busted them out for our mild Tahoe winter but realized with El Nino some wider baskets were a must. I was happy to find a set that screwed neatly over my trekking poles (win!).
