Alpina’s do-everything skis for gals, the Discovery 68W fits in all but the narrowest of set tracks yet gives you a great ski for exploring the backcountry. With a 68-60-65mm sidecut profile and 8mm of sidecut, the Discovery 68W is wider and has more sidecut than many telemark skis from previous decades and is no slouch in the backcountry! With an early rise tip to keep your tips on top of the snow and Alpina’s Lite Edge Wood core for the strength and durability of an integrated sidewall cap construction. Steel edges provide control and a firm grip on icy surfaces. The BC No-Wax patterned base provides grip for those long climbs and the speed ground base provides ample glide for exhilarating descents. Though perfectly suited for Rottefella NNN-BC bindings, the flat ski top allow installation of your choice of NNN-BC bindings or your favorite 3-pin or cable binding.
